The German Railways E 41 (later Class 141) 'Firecracker' electric locomotives were introduced in the late 1950s and quickly settled into their role of passenger and freight workings on secondary routes. Robust and reliable, the locomotives provided sterling service into the 20th century until replaced by modern EMUs and were particularly associated with push-pull trains. This beautiful Lenz model is presented in mint condition in the blue express livery of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. It is fitted with DCC sound and a full suite of features – including addictive remote operation of the finely detailed pantographs!
